The upper regions of space are denoted by the Greeks as ether. Something with ethereal properties is characterized by insubstantiality and lightness. The streets in the digital realm serve no function anymore. There is no need left for a connecting space from one place to another. No inbetween space, or left over bits on the edges of other activities.
